Our location

Red Earth Lodge is located in the grounds of Mount Buffalo National Park, near Bright in North East Victoria, Australia.  The Lodge is approximately 3.5 hour (320 kms) drive north east of Melbourne city.  

The nearest town is Porepunkah which has a grocery store, a ski sales and hire, DVD rental, as well as a pub/restaurant (Punka Pub) with a bottle shop.  Porepunkah is 6 km from Red Earth Lodge.  

Bright is only 10 mins drive, 12 kms, from our lodge and hosts fantastic rural gourmet and shopping experiences, as well as supermarkets, butchers, bottle shops, pubs, banks, newsagents and regular markets.
